first thing to break.
Sat. I rolled out of my garage and pulled the E-brake and it made a pop sound. The handle is now going all the way to the end of its travel and it will not hold the car on a incline more than 10 degrees. All the rotors look ok and the cable looks ok in the back but into the shop it goes. Probably no big deal. :rolleyes:

My 98 used to make that same pop sound from time to time. It would be fine after I pulled on the handle a few more times. The dealer eventually replaced the mechanism inside the handle and that fixed it.
