Default head light question

i remember reading here somewhere that the plastic stops for the head light motor were not available from the general any more. does anyone know where they can be found. i think that i remember that the answer to that question was no where, but i am hoping that i am remembering wrong. i have been having head light issues, it won't come up unless i manually move it a little bit then it will work fine for a while. and i noticed that it least 1 stop pad was missing. my other question is if it is such a vital part to get the headlights to work then why did gm stop selling them...

Sorry, can't answer your question but don't readily see that a missing stop bumper would cause a headlamp not to open.

Default headlights

do a search for headlights. there is a ton of information on various issues and fixes. then go to : http://rodneydickman.com/catalog/pro...roducts_id=285

Rodney sells parts for repairs, including bump stops. Great guy to deal with also....
