Hope Mr, Bill & Mr, Jean are safe from this wild fire. best wishes to all in the area & hope the losses can be kept to a minimum, although I understand this has already been tradgic for many.
Yup, we're alright up here. Can't say the same for many up here.
As Bill mentioned, I lived up there, very near where it started. I could see the picture view from my front porch this morning, across the valley. Scary stuff for those in harms way. Prayers going out.
Wow I have been at work and this is the first I have heard of it. We have had a lot of fires around here the last few years and have seen the devastation. I hope and pray everyone is ok there, we had some deaths here due to wildfires!

Hello Pete, That is on the west side of town where all the high $ homes are, Out the end of Mayberry/ Skyline Dr. It is the newer part of reno on the bottom of the mountain. I guess you would say Southwest Reno.
Yup. Southwest Pete. It started up in the Caughlin Ranch area. It was about 2 blocks from my place, when I lived up there back in 2009.
There's a power station up there. It will probably turn out to be falling wires or something, that started it. High winds knock down a bunch of stuff around there.
