Default My First Corvette

I've lurked these forums for a while and just decided to post! A while back I purchased a '98 A4 corvette. I've had a ton of fun with it so far and am enjoying working on it and cruising.
This is the day I got the car, of course it was on E when I bought it LOL.

(After it got cleaned up a little bit)As you can see i'm not really the oldest looking. I was 18 when I purchased the car and I turned 19 recently. Since then I've started modding the car (mod bug hit me quick!). I've purchased solely from forum members and vendors thus far and couldn't be more pleased! Everyone here is pretty easy to work with, great service from the vendors, and shipping is always quick! It really seems like a nice community on these boards.

(This kind of shows what it looks like now)

Default More info

As you can see it had some custom touches initially: custom orange paint, cowl hood, full blackouts, and chrome Z06 rims. Since then I've added some custom touches of my own. I plasti dipped the rear, front and added some grand sport stripes after vinyl ones failed miserably for me LOL. Full LED conversion in interior and exterior (almost). I'm still working on everything as funds become available. http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g361/Vorkek/ For anyone interested in more pictures and things I've done so far I've added a lot of pictures to photobucket! Thanks!

Comments or thoughts on existing mods and what I should do next are welcome! I look forward to a lot more Corvette ownership fun!

P.S. Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to the forum. My son was 18 when he got his first C5 Vette, he now drives a supercharged 2005 C6 at 23. Bought it with his own money

You are missing your front bumper insert. I would get that in if you are not required to carry a front license. It looks odd without it.
Enjoy your ride.

Congrats on getting one when you are so young. I got my first one when I was 19, but that was a long time ago. As far as mods go, that depends on what YOU want. If you are on here very much, you better keep your wallet in your pocket or it will be empty very fast.

Congrats on your first Corvette. I got my first Corvette when I was 18 too. Many Corvettes later and the thrill has not faded. Enjoy your C5 and welcome to the Forum. Times flies

Welcome to the fraternity and as already mentioned if you are not required to have a front plate (and it looks like you are not) find the stock filler for the nose.

You did good, you Vette looks real good -

As mentioned it might be a good idea, looks wise, to get the front License Plate insert to finish off the design and maybe the C5 Z06 front mesh screens - they also come in a gloss black screen too!

Thanks,Matt
