Well the coolent overflow tank nipple inlet cracked, leaking like a dam on the Hayward fault line (I hope it really isn't). Anyway I used the method from this forum on replacing it, can't seem to find it now but it helped, took only 30mins. and no issues what so ever. Leaving the cap on the tank prevented the coolent from pouring out when removing the hoses. Thanks Forum, you guys are life savers AGAIN.
Guys check your nipples, this apparently is a weak point. Looks like the weight of the hose bouncing around while driving puts strain on the plastic nipple (it does have a brass tube inside), cracking it at the joint to the tank. It started as a slow leak, then started heavy onto the exhaust..
Mine was broke too and it was replaced a few months ago. Been holding coolant since but getting a low coolant message because I think the sensor is not properly seated or something and it's at the bottom of the tank from what I'm told. Probably have to just re-seat the tank.

Is this a coupe thing?, pretty sure mine didn't have a sensor

might want to double check that... I'm not sure on the Vette, but in the TransAm the level sensor was in the radiator and occasionally needed cleaning. Flushing the system didn't seem to help.
