Guys I did a little searching but didn't find what I was looking for. I am trying to decide what color of 2002-2004 Z06 I want to buy. I like all of the colors other than the dark blue. However in looking at some pics it appears that there are two colors of blue in these years. Is the 2002 blue different than the 2003-2004 blue? The Electric Blue Metalic looks close to the 1998 Atlantic Blue Cobra paint I have always been fond of.
I have a 2003 Electron Blue Metallic (EBM) zoh and I can assure you that the shade of blue is no where near the hue of the 1998 Cobra color you reference. The Ford blue is much brighter

Hmmm...a few pics I have seen must be deceiving then.

I consider Ford's Sonic Blue too dark for my liking. So maybe the Elecron Blue I wouldn't like in person...?

It's a similar blue, but looks brighter in the sun due to the metallic paint. Here's a shot of my car next to my mother's Vista blue Mustang for reference:

It does look good in the sun. Leaning toward yellow, but I do like it.
