Thanks to Dennis (& his wife) for the great job on my bezel. Double D Mods craftsmanship is second to none. Dennis is such a pleasant guy to talk to.....helped me tremendously on the wiring. Couldn't have done it without you. If you thinking about doing a double din, Dennis is the guy to do your bezel. Best I've seen anywhere. Here is a pic taken with my iPhone, not the greatest pic, but you get an idea of the workmanship. Again, thanks to Dennis & his wife.
Put it where a passenger could use it without screaming to be heard. Got to admit, it's very sensitive. I usually talk in a low voice & everybody seems to hear me just fine. So for now, it will stay there unless it gets in the way of the ipod.
Thanks guys for all the good comments. That radio has been sitting by my computer desk for almost a year, so thought I had better sell it or use it, glad I used it.

Where can I get a double din bezel for my 2001 Corvette? Please advise.
A good place to mount the mic is in the same slot where the RV mirror exits. It places the mic where both driver and passenger can be heard the same. Not sure why more people don't do it like that. Fits perfect there.

That's a great idea. Didn't think of that. The cabin isn't that big, my wife has never had any trouble being heard when we are carrying a converstion with someone else with the mic on my visor.
