Default Identifying Cam/Clutch

Now that it's winter I should have some time to do a little investigative work on my car. Bought an 02 Z06 in March of this year that was modded but the small dealer I bought it from could not produce any receipts. Not a super huge deal to me because the parts I can see on the car are quality and the car has run flawlessly.

BUT I still have that not knowing factor that is annoying. Especially with the cam. So, I was wondering if some of you could point me in the direction of the easiest way to identify what cam and clutch are in a car.

I know...not easy. I believe for the cam I would have to remove the timing cover and pray there is a number engraved on the end of the cam?

With the clutch I believe it will be removing the bell housing inspection cover? Is there a write up on how to do so?

I believe that is your best bet on the cam. For the clutch inspection cover, it is self-explanatory. There are 2 or 4 bolts holding it on on the underside of the car. Right in between the exhaust as it comes down on each side of the bellhousing. Just remove a couple of bolts (13mm I think) and it pulls right off. Now how much that helps you is anyone's guess, a lot of clutches look very similar and your view isn't gonna be that hot.
