If I ever get married, the Mrs. will have to accept going in, that my FRC will be the mistress, and that's all there is to it.

ok. I give! Where's the lawn mower, Christmas decorations, tools, crap that you just can't get rid of, storage cabinets filled with stuff to supply the Arc and old car parts???? But at least we know how you could afford the Vett... No whisper quiet, low sudsing, water saving cloths washer

If getting a 'vette is a sign of "mid life"... I'll probably be reachin' "end of life" in a few years, and I'm only 30!

29 here, and people are always surprised that I drive a vette.

My mid-life crisis car will be a 911 C4S

Somebody once told me "You're too young to have a mid-life crisis!" Well, you only live once so screw it! Maybe it is a mid life crisis thing but who cares...smells of jealousy and envy to me!

I love your response, so I took your words and changed them up a bit to suit my situation.

I'm 51 and I'm told I bought a mid-life crisis or an old man sports car because its a Torch Red FRC. I tell them to keep hating. I've always wanted a Corvette. You don't need to justify purchasing this car. They went out and bought a pick up truck, me too, or a newer econobox and probably spent just as much if not more than what I paid for my car. A wife, three kids, and plenty of problems. I spend my money how I see fit and it is because I had a sudden impulse to blow my money on a twisted idea that it would inspire hot chicks, it didn't work.

I've had Corvette's or race cars or street toys all my life. Work hard, play hard.
As far as Corvette's go, I'm going through my fifth midlife crisis now at 68. Just getting started....
