IIRC the 8## bulbs all have the same base, but the bulb portion itself is different (with the halogens).

Since you're getting HIDs the bulb portion will be the same and all you're worried about it the base.

That's what you want the 885 series that's what the stock vette is you will love hid's in them. I could actually drive without my headlights with them on when I had the stock headlights. I have ACA's now and light up the way.

885's are 50w and the others are 37.5w. You will see a big difference, but mostly from a re-aim higher.

Good luck.

I would find another place to buy from, They no longer stock the units here in the states, It took me 2 weeks to get a set of the 880 units, I called them and he said the Gov made them close the wherehouse here in the states. The units now come from China.

Pretty much any HID light that cost less than $200 was coming from China already.

The Chinese supplier will let the distributors customize the kits with ballasts that look a little different and have different labels on them, but pretty much all the cheap HID kits that you find on eBay or the forum vendors are the same.

Just got a set of HID's with slim digital ballasts from flea bay for 32.99. Only regret I did not do it sooner. The light output from fog lights is fantastic with 5000k bulbs.
