It depends on how deep they are and if they've gone throught the clear coat. I'd start by going over the area with Scratch Out or one of the other scratch removers, followed by a swirl remover, then a polish, a glaze, and finally a good wax. Basically, you will be gradually removing and smoothing the surface, using progressively finer polishing materials. The scratch remover is the most agressive in this group, then the swirl remover gets things a bit more refined, a good polish (not wax), is the next finest step, and the glaze (like Meguires Show Care Glaze), is a filler that fills in any remaining fine scratches. Top coat it with wax and you're good to go. Repeat evey couple of months. Of course deep scratches that penetrate the clear coat and paint require more work from a painting pro. The steps I mentioned also go more smoothly if you have a dual action polisher like the Poter Cable 7424. Also each of the products used are just good basic care care items to have to keep your baby looking good anyway. Zuti
