Hopefully you will see it in your hearts to help her out and I really hope the authorities find her dad before he can follow through on his desire to commit suicide. Sounds like she has a promising life ahead of her provided her Dad realizes what his actions could do to her.
May the Lord bless you and your wife! I sure hope the girls mental sake the authorities find her dad before he makes a bad decision.
My thoughts exactly, makes my problems insignificant!! What a tought life she is living. Thanks to you there is hope! Let us know if there is anything that we can help you with at the forum. Rob
A few people have expressed a desire to help and I would also do so....there are so many of us on here that are fortunate that perhaps we could set up a small college fund and help one person out there that deserves a chance....we would need to make sure the story is what it is...no offence just a housekeeping audit that needs to be done and then let's move this girl into an opportunity she would otherwise never could experience and fulfill her dream to be what she desires.... c'mon lets help this innocent little girl and show her the world does actually care about her....I am in Canada so not sure how to do the checks and set this up....must be a lawyer or CPA out there who can set this up.... I for one am in and will put up the first $100.00 ....who else is in....????
Could we make an exception and make this a sticky...just this once plse moderators

Well, you can let this young girl know she now has a whole lot of friends here on the forum and we're all wishing her the best. She ever wishes to ride in a Corvette, I'm sure any of us would be proud to offer.

:agree:You guys deserve credit for being great human beings. Rare people indeed that can have an open heart as you two. My wife has spent about 33 years in special ed, and I can only admire people like you and her,,special people indeed! God bless!!
Tom, if there were more people like you in this country there would be no need to take it back. Sounds to me like this young lady is in a better place under your care, for now at least. God bless you and your family sir
Absolutely!
I hope the sob's who created this mess rot in hell with the wealth they stole from us. These are real people and real lives we're talking about. Not dollar signs.
I hope they find her dad alive and soon. I can't imagine what she is going through right now. I have seen the effects suicide has on family. It is an awful thing. Please pray they find him alive, for her sake.
You and your wife are truly Angels for the help you provide these kids. One can only hope that her Dad gets found before he goes through with his promise. My thoughts and prayers go out to Amber as she no doubt has a difficult road ahead, but with the help from people like you and your Wife that road will no doubt be smoother for her. All the best for your family this Holiday Season and a Happy and Healthy 2012.
