Bloomington gold moving!!!!!!!
Just heard on the radio that starting in 2013, Bloomington Gold will be held in Champaign, Illinois at the Assembly Hall.
I attended it in St Charles again this year. Same old, same old and attendance seemed down. Very expensive place to go for a show.

I just got an email this morning about the move! It will be in St Charles for 2012, then going to Champagne for 2013, total attendance was down 4,000 people from 2010!
Pheasant Run also was complaining that the golf course takes a serious beating afterwards!

WOOT WOOT BG is BACK!!
GREAT move for BG!! They will be back in a town where they will be greeted with open arms by the city of Champaign instead of the back of the hand St. Charles gave them!! The local Corvette club, Corvette Club of Illinois has been around since 1970 and is second to none. I'm sure they will be helping out. The City of Champaign as indicated on BG website will be rolling out the carpet to bring back the "cruisen" aspect of Bloomington. Already said they will try to break the Guinness world record of 2200+ Corvette road tour set by Bloomington while it was still in central Illinois. The University of Illinois facilities will be more than enough space to host the event. EVERYTHING is POSITIVE about the Bloomington Gold move back close to it;s roots!! Let the good times ROLL!!
