Default Corvette Cover for transporting

Hello everyone, I am having my 1998 vette shipped in a open carrier from NJ to NC. The transporter requires a cover that will not blow off. Any suggestion you have I would really appreciate. Are there any car cover manufacturers you know of that have tie downs attached to the cover? Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't cover it.
I'd check with a different transporter.
Why not an enclosed unit?

PS. Vettedarla,, Try checking with ECS, East coast Supercharging, out of Cream Ridge NJ.
They may have a few suggestions on which transporters to use in that area.
Good luck.

In an open transport, that cover will flap and buffet the paint - not something I would want to happen.

A cover will buffet in the wind and beat the paint up on your car.

I would never ship a car with good paint with a cover unless it was enclosed transport.

Default car cover

check out a boat shrink wrap co. it would be tight and no buffetting in transporting, cost probably 150 or less ussualy about 6 to 8 $ per foot, this is done after the car is on the trailer. good luck.

You should call Horseless Carraige in NJ. They have an enclosed trailer going south from NJ in the next couple of days.

I wouldnt use boat shrink wrap. I was in that business and the boats would get rash from the plastic.

Good Luck
