Back in the saddle.....
...and it feels just right!
I have been a vette girl for a handful of years now. My father had a '99 vert that he let me drive when I went to visit him. I started with a '98 coupe, moved up to an '05 that I was forced to sell due to leaving my job (and not needing the payments.)
I was severely bummed when I sold my C6. Every time my husband and I would drive past a vette I would feel some serious heartache.
Well, as some of you may have seen (he posted a thread in OT under the same screen name).... he went all out and found me my first Z for Christmas! He worked his *** off running around finding the perfect car for me. He was right on target. My 3rd vette but my first Z. It's an '02 with a little over 40kmi, LG headers, Corsa exhaust and a mystery camshaft. It is MEAN and makes me grin from ear to ear. I am so grateful for an amazing husband and to be back in the saddle.
I took her out today for Christmas and cruised downtown Austin, it was the perfect day. A complete ghost town. I thought I would share a few pictures with you guys along with my joy.
