This story reminds me of the DC Sniper. Since we know they are in jail forever, a copycat out there now? For an object to go in one side and come out the other, it has to be a bullet. A rock simply wouldn't have enough velocity. I'm sure there are a couple of exceptions out there but the odds are way against an accident.
