I have Pfadt coilovers on my car and they're great, but they were more than $1000.

I purchased the stance coilovers that I will be putting on this week or next. Check Dennis at double d mods. Little more than a 1000 but they have good quality parts

I run the LG GT2 coilovers and they are great! Unfortunately, a good well proven set of coilovers is not going to be had for $1k.

Good luck.

In the suspension world you definitely get what you pay for. Our FeatherLight Generation Single Adjustable coilovers will provide the ride height control that you're looking for, the adjustable dampers that will allow you to optimize the car for what ever you're doing with your Corvette, and all designed into one package optimized for your Corvette. Our unique upper mount design provides an excellent articulation range with very low friction for ultimate durability.

Overall they're the best single adjustable coilover we've ever produced, and can be customized to your individual tastes.

I think the least expensive set of quality coilovers is probably the QA1s.

I really like my Pfadt's. Everyone that rides in my car comments on how well it rides to be so low.

I have said this before------my Pfadt coilovers are THE single best mod on my C5 I have ever done. Hands down. Ride is fantastic, handles like on rails, good slammed look without bottoming out. Best of all worlds. Yes you get what you pay for----excellence in engineering. I will never buy another car with leaf springs of any kind.

I don't think you have to worry about that, unless you buy another Vette or a pickup truck.
