Switchback LEDs and wiring
Is the control for the switchbacks (what color is on when) done internal of the bulb (LED circuitry), or is it dependent on which wire is charged AND the circuitry?
I ask because I also have a 2010 Camaro SS that has 3157 socket bulbs, but only two wires, and the the front turn signals are ONLY turn signals...not DRLs. Non-RS Camaros have amber DRLs with 3 wires like the Vette.
If I ran a third wire from a DRL circuit (in my case, the "fog" lights on the SS), would the switchbacks work as they do for the Corvette? (Amber with DRL, white with parking lights, amber with turn).
Is it possible to reverse this lighting set-up (White with DRL, Amber with parking, amber with turn)?
