My car has the factory end links and they are toast. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with them or not, by I find it very hard to hold my car in the road sometimes. It just constantly wanders from side to side. Very sensitive to inputs, and rarely tracks straight. I know it is in alignment because I hit a deer recently and the car left the road. They did a 4 wheel alignment then when the rest of the repairs were done.

I'm fixing to get new tires and I am thinking of doing solid end links as well.

Doubt end links will do anything for straight line tracking. Think you have other "issues".

I did have a BMW 740 about 10 yrs ago had new tires and 4 wheel alignment done. Drove about 250 miles to N.C. and the front tires where totally shot on the inside tires , and really didnt drive that bad at all.. Robert

Several thingscan cause your car to "wander".
One major cause is the roadway itself. Roads traveled by heavy trucks get 'grooved' ruts that wil drive a Vette crazy trying to track. Low tire pressure, bad tires bad shocks, the list goes on and on. the end links, not so much.

New tires should yield a noticeable improvement - if not, start looking for other issues...

Maybe these crappy Alabama roads have something to do with it.

My tires are gone. Believe it or not I have gotten 62k out of my General UHPs. I will be ordering new tires in the next few days. I know that the tires have some to do with it wandering around..but the end links puzzle me. Mine are stock and my car is approaching 130k. What improvement will I see with solid endlinks vs. the shot stock ones?

I do have Z51, if that makes any diffenece here.

Definitely get the metal end links. They were stock on Z06s. I would even upgrade to Z06 sway bars with the metal end links. You can find a bunch used for sale all the time. The stock shocks are crap too. Upgrade to Bilstein Sports!

Thats the combo I have and it handles awesome for the street/track.
