Cam/header install price

So I finally went and got an official estimate... Is $4500 + tax a reasonable price for this install/includes parts and labor...

american racing headers with high flow cats
cam (not sure which one yet)
patriot extreme springs
pushrods
halltech intake
and a tune

Sounds reasonable to me. You're not getting a steal but you're also not getting screwed. You're looking at about $3k in parts alone, so add $1K for labor and $500 for the dyno tune and it puts you right at $4500.

I just got a call... they found me a buyer for the old Ti exhaust I have sittin around so I can take another $300 off the price. heading out now to go throw some cash at them. hooray for me

No heads? If doing work to the heads and putting in a cam would it be worth while to just do the heads? Underdrive pulley?

OK, so while the heads are off, what should I have done, how much can I expect it to cost, and what gains should i figure from it?

Your only getting $300 for your Ti Exhaust? They sell for $400 pretty easily if they are in good shape.
