I am planning on putting in an MGW shifter soon and would like to put a C6 shifter **** on it- does anyone know how I can go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
Did you check their website? The shifter for C5 and C6 or Z06 models is basically the same. You can order levers in different configurations for C5 or C6 *****...

So I can just order the MGW shifter for the C5 and they will supply me with the correct lever that the **** can thread onto?
The C6 ***** that have been modified (9/16-18" threaded insert) are about $80 on EBAY. You might find a used one in the classified section.
Look at the images of the two shifters in the link I gave. The base of the shifter is marked C5/C6. So the same shifter can be used for '97 C5/Z06 cars to current C6/Z06 cars.
A C5/Z06 **** threads on with 9/16-18" threads. A C6/Z06 **** press fits on and uses an "ear" to thread a fastener to the side of the lever. The image shows the threaded bosses on the C6/Z06 shifter lever.
You chose what type of lever you want. The attachment to the shifter mechanism is the same. The type of lever determines the type of **** you can use.
Contact MGW for further. I'm certain they've dealt with the issue before...

Gee, thats so much more helpful (126,000 hits) than a member giving a quick answer!
Gee, you are right, sport. Nothing is more helpful than Google. Posting your question here will require you to wait for the answers, and hope that many people actually post all the available vendors and options. My simple Google search provided him with multiple vendors instantly, and I actually did the work for him by providing a link. He claimed that he "couldn't find them", so I went right to the first logical place to look---Google. Guess what? There they were. Go figure, huh? Now, he is all set and can get his C5 looking good with an upgraded C6 ****.
