Well my climate control ,etc had a very dim display , could only see it at night time , still very hard to see . With the help from the many contributors regarding this problem , AND FOLLOWING THEIR DIRECTION I now have a display that I can actually see , what a great forum this is , lots of instructions , great information , and above all a a host of individuals who are willing to share their talent .Thankyou :
Any links to the posts you found most helpful? I'm going to fix mine one of these days. But for now, a little tapping on it and it's full strength for a little while.

Might as well fix it now. The tapping fix isn't going to give a whole lot more time. Mine started that way first, then went south pretty quick.

I'm not too good with soldering so I'm not looking forward to it. Three of my AC related buttons no longer light up too. A friend is redoing all of his interior bulbs with white LEDs which is what I really want to do too. I'm going to see how his turn out then I'll start digging into mine.
