Hood light not working

Hood light not working
Can't get my hood light to work. My voltmeter shows the two terminals have 12v, but nothing happens when connecting the bulb. Bought a new bulb (comes in pair), an neither works.
Ideas?

hood light /
Check the connector right below the right front of the hood when open. I had all sorts of problem with the connection till I bought and installed the now famous "Hood Seal" Once I cleaned the connection, coated it with silicone grease and installed the little hood seal I never had a problem.

X2 what Killian said. I'm putting mine back together and noticed some blue/green corrosion in that plug but just the one terminal. You could have power in the hot side but the ground side may not be making contact. Not sure how you checked but if you grounded the voltmeter to the chassis and probed the socket, you could possibly have power show but with no ground it won't light. Hope that made sence.
