Slight Grind into 6th when cold
Its starting to get a little cold here in Tampa now. Ive noticed whenever I start up the car for the first time, and head down the road and shift into 6th gear, it will give a slight grind. After the car warms up, it doesnt do it anymore, and usually just does it once, only when its cold outside. Anyway to remedy this to prevent any sort of damage?

The first step in fixing trans issues is almost always to change out the fluid. Do you know the last time that was done?
What road speed are you typically at when shifting into 6th for the first time? I bet you'd be just fine leaving it in 5th a little longer to let the car warm up.
