I am looking into getting the Katech Coil Relocation kit and was looking for anyone who has installed these before. I am looking for any general information anyone has, do you have to use the Katech valve covers? ect...?
Any info would be great!
I have the Katech valve covers and the coil relocation kit. The coil relocation kit is designed to work with the Katech valve covers, if installing on an LS1/LS6 C5 you will have to get aftermarket fuel rails as the coil relocation kit will not fit around the stock fuel rails.

Hope this helps,
Jim
I just installed the Katech coil relocate on my 2000 C5 and used the stock fuel rail. You just have to bend the fuel rail inlet slightly as per Katech instructions. The other modification is shaving the alternator bracket a little to make room for those taller valve covers.
