Groaning from suspension???

Groaning from suspension???
I'm getting some pretty consisant groaning from my car when even slowly going over any speed bumps, not sure if I need shocks or what, I have a 99 and am assuming need new suspension.....makes no noise when I am cruising, only over bumps? Bushings???

I live in Florida and we had our first cold spell last week. At that time, I noticed similar groaning on my daily driver Acura sedan when I pulled into the parking garage at my office. It lasted about 3 days and stopped after the weather got warmer again. I think it was just the bushings hardening due to the cold weather.

Check your sway bar bushings. Get under the car and tug hard back and forth on the sway bars to see if that's the source of the groan. It's one of the areas I've found that will cause that noise. If it's the source, pull the bushings and use some bushing grease to lube them.
