I have been searching to find out how many 2001 base convertibles were produced with the torch red interior. So far, not even the museum can tell me for certain. Don't see it in the Black Book either.
Any good sleuths out there?

There is no place that I am aware of that will give you a complete break down as to interior color in a specific exterior color. The numbers listed above are the total number of the Firethron Red interiors produced, but those are in all the '01's that were able to get the Firethron Red. The only colors that did not come with that interior color option were Navy Blue,Millennium Yellow,Magnetic Red and Dark Bowling Green.
I really appreciate the responses and am now in agreement that there seems not to be an existing breakdown of the # of interior colors combined with specific exterior colors.
I actually meant to ask how many 2001 Quicksilver Metallic roadsters came with the clearly available Torch Red interiors.
Most Quicksilver Metallic 2001 Roadsters I see are with black interior.
Mine is definitely Torch Red, not Firethorn.
1. The 2001 brochure lists "Torch Red"
2. My window sticker lists"Torch Red"
3. My build sheet lists Torch Red code
4. The interior color is very definitely "Torch Red" and not Firethorn which is darker.
The specs we often see lisying only Firethorn are wrong.
Hey, any 2001 Quicksilver Metallic verts with Torch Red interiors out there?

obviously in the eye of the beholder. I get 90% rave comments about the Quicksilver Metallic combined with the TORCH RED interior. I have only seen one other 2001 online , none in person. So I don't see myself coming and going. But I respect your right to your opinion were you serious.

I was going t0 go to a c6. Z06. BUT i found a c5 z06 original owner in west palm beach, fl.. It had 1,127 k bringing IT home now has 1,950k. Only not original is the battery. It has everything the car came with new most not opened and tags like air bag sticker still in place above glove box. I could not pass on it. Still like them c5 z06 cars. Torch red mod red interior. You can still smell the new leather. Ran strong all the way back. Philly

I haven't seen a place that will give you a breakdown like you want.
I pulled the covers from the wells in the rear area and, lo and behold, there were the original parts stickers on the covers, all three labeled, "Torch Red."
So that puts to rest any doubt about its availability in 2001.
Guess I'll never know how many 2001 Quicksilver roadsters were produced with that sport interior? One source said 41, but I would bet that is high.
Old guy who should be driving a Cadillac, but then again, weren't the C1s all produced with a Torch Red interior?
Red interiors are for Old Caddilac Eldorados (and guys that wear plaid golf pants)
I happen to think A Corvette in Classic White with Red interior is a great combo. Remember that was it in '53, so it is a tradition. I had a '77 in Classic White with the Red interior and it got a lot of compliments. In fact that has be a color combination available for every year.

My `01 vert is Torch Red with Torch Red interior. There's a big difference in TR and Firethorn! Mine has a white top, too, now that combo is pretty rare...........
Oh, no funny golf pants for me! I get lots and lots of compliments on the colors of my car!
is the actual interior color of mine over Quicksilver exterior. The Firethorn is darker, but must have been beautiful on the black vert.Very rich.
People seem to get the two reds confused.
I actually own a rare color combo 2001 quick silver convertible torch red interior with a white convertible top. Currently only 34,789 miles. Most car enthusiasts tell me my C5 color combo is very rare ?? I too have been trying to drill down on this further. Any more current thoughts on this forum ???
