Detroit Auto Show !
PICTURES ADDED AT END OF STRING !Capital City Corvette Club from Columbus OH headed to Detroit Tuesday morning. Rented a big bus and 55 of us will enjoy the day at the auto show. Steak dinner on the trip back to Columbus, full day but a lot of fun.

cool, but I'm not impressed with GM's offerings...stripes and badges and CF ain't enough. Let's see some other brands next time....Jag, Aston-Martin, Ford Mustangs, etc

I like the 60 anniversary edition and of course the Corvette will look the same as it has for the past 8 years. I do agree that GM really dropped the ball on the Retro Camero. Dodge nailed it and as far as seeing more Mustang's I would not need that as they are all over the place on the streets. Maybe the Jag and a few of the European's would be nice, but thanks for posting.

Maybe its because i live outside of detroit and have been there a bunch BUT i cant stand the auto show bunch of people staring at a car COOL!!!!! now get out of my way
With the internet i can see all i want and find videos of my favorite cars performing

Just one point to consider, the Camaro is selling! Look at the #'s I pulled of the net. The major reason Chevy keeps making so many variations of the vette & the camaro is because folks "eat them up". Just bringing up a point, let the flaming begin....LOL.

Camaro October 2011 Deliveries (actual sales): 6,119
Total Deliveries in 2011: 76,368

Sales of the Ford Mustang for October of 2011 were 4,898 compared to 5,317 from October of 2010 showing a 7.9% decrease in sales from the previous year. Year to date Mustang sales are 61,516 compared to 64,171 for 2010, which is a 4.1% decrease over the previous year.
Month to Month sales dropped slightly as September 2011 sales were 5,054 compared to October 2011 sales of 4,898 which is a 3% decrease.
Taking a look at the competition the Chevrolet Camaro sold 6,119 and the Dodge Challenger sold 3,097 units for September.

The show in 08 was as drab as the year but each year it gets better and better. I'm a nut for this stuff so maybe I'm a little biased but I thought it was a great show. Lots of new offering from the big 3. Seems like they finally got the message. More horsepower is great but if you can't match it to better milage it won't sell !!!!!!
There was a new start up called "VIA" that took a 3/4 ton express and a 1500 truck and made them totally electric. Only fleet sales this year but keep an eye out. Full production is supposed to be in 13.
Ford's (sorry for the bad language) new Focus is a great looking car. Redesign on the Escape !!!!!!!!!!!
Look at the photo of the "Hot Wheels" Camaro. That's cool !!!
I could go on!!!!
If you get a chance its worth the money to go !!!
