Default How much 2001 Corvette C5 worth?

Someone wants to trade his vette with my truck. Could someone tell me how much a 2001 corvette c5 with 35k miles, yellow, automatic, Corsa exhaust system, never been in accident, clean inside outside, without seat tears, and removable roof, how much does it worth? I would also like to know how much could i sell it for?

Thank in Advance!

Give him your truck! And once you drive it, you'll keep it!

Check on sites like edmunds.com, kbb.com or even look at autotrader.com to get an idea of what the car might be worth.

I have a 2001 6 speed loaded and I just checked both Edmunds and KKB. In edmunds it show just over $12K trade and $14K private. KKB has it at just over $18K trade and $20K private. Just remember if you look in the autotrader of dealership ads, these prices are just what they are asking and you know they can change. Everything is negotiable.
You did not mention what year and make of truck you have. Also if you simply use the truck as a daily driver and not what a truck is made for and the prices are somewhat close, I would be all over the trade. But if you need something to haul stuff, the Corvette is not the way to go. Finally I was wondering why he wants to trade a Corvette for your truck.

What is the truck that you would have to give up? I would say that a low-mileage '01 like you describe is worth somewhere in the ballpark of $17-19k.

I have a clean 2003 Chevy Avalanche 1500 2wd leather 131000 miles and he wants $3500 with the trade. Now what do you think?

Something is not right here. He only want $3500 and your truck, with 131000 miles and no options (at least listed). I would have the Vette checked over my a good Corvette mechanic and if it checks out I would give him the money and drive the Vette away from him as fast as possible.

I already showed you that the KKB has the Vette listed ay $18K trade and 20K private (a little high maybe) but your truck in KKB is listed at $6-$8 trade and $8.8-10.5 private.

Something dosn't smell right with that deal. I'd check the car very well. You won't buy a car in my neck of the woods anywhere near Edmunds listings. Most are several thousand more than kbb. I've been looking for a much lower mileage vette vert, but not at the prices I've seen lately.

I'd take that deal.

There are some people that really like the 2wd over the 4wd Avy's, but unless the Vette has got some serious issues, it's a win for you.

If it's a good driver, it's still worth more than the truck. Unless you WANT the vette, I wouldn't do it just to try and turn it for a buck. 135,000 miles will scare off most buyers, unless it goes real cheap.
