[Z06] Interior roof fit?

Interior roof fit?
I actually did not know what to call my problem, hence the question mark.
When I look in thru the rear window of my '02 Z, I can see, on the driver's side, the insulation between the interior roof/ceiling panel and the exterior. The blacked out area (paint) of the window doesn't cover it. I guess it's supposed to?
Since I will be working in that area soon (I got one of those LED dome lights) I would be in a position to fix it. Anyone have the same thing??
