LED Engine Show Lights
I attended a local classic car show the other night and there was a 1963 coupe where the owner installed some LED lights to showcase the engine. The show went into the evening and after it got dark, the effect was really nice. The set up appeared removable so please no "ricer" comments as that was certainly not the intent of the owner.
Anyone do anything similar for their C5?

My wife is bugging me to put some pink lighting on her '01. I am hesitating because of the "ricer" references, but she also shows the car at other functions (she is a Breast Cancer survivor, and the car has a "survivor" theme, which she displays at Komen and related events). She wants it "tasteful", but also wants to draw attention to the mods on the car. She says that if the Corvette drivers don't like it, too bad. I spent some time this afternoon looking the car over, and trying to get ideas. I am considering it.

Pink would sure pop on all that white and the accents on the fuel rails.
Temporarily put some on there and see what you think. Being "her" car, you might be surprised at the response you get.

To MSGC5, I think forum member NASCAR57 has some LEDs in his engine compartment, kind of an amber glow...looks cool. 
To 99mallett, if you can find the pink for you wife's car....go for it, would definitely be a compliment to the white...and draw attention at the events.

Looks like there are plenty of possiblities to use the LEDs to highlight various portions of the car. Not a bad idea to spice up the engine bay with them.
