[Z06] Cray wheels

Cray wheels
I have a 02 Z06. I no that I've seen the scorpion wheels by cray on other Zs here on the forum. On the websites I've been to say they will not fit Z06. So what's the deal? Thanks!

They'll fit, and I like the way the look...but they are narrower than stock width on the fronts (9" cray vs. 9.5" stock C5Z). I assume that's what people are talking about. The rears are identical at 10.5" though. I wish they would have made them 9.5" front and 11" rear.

True! I would have to throw away half of my Z06. Just because it is assembled in Kentucky doesn't mean the parts used are from there...5th gen Camaro = Engine and trans from Mexico, parts from China, and assembled in Canada. LOL

You can always try harder.... Why not seek out a set of used CCW wheels or HRE wheels? You can find excellent deals on this forum and the wheels Ive been able to obtain have been in near excellent shape. I purchased one set of HRE 545's WITH near new tires for $3,000. I made almost the same deal again a few years later. 545's with Michellin Pilots for about $2,500.

They are junk. Like other said, --> Very heavy. I could instantly tell I went the WRONG way once they were on the car compared to my Stock Z06 wheels. Sold the Cray on flee-bay, bought some CCW's.. Now very happy!
