C5 B, it's the Z51.

You probably have already found the information in the car report about car "B" being registered in an area with a major flood event.

Just in case it helps. I would call the dealer and discuss the choice.

If both cars were otherwise equal, I'd go with car B - like the color better and has the Z51 option.

I like the Z51 but am not wild about yellow, or the higher miles. That would be a really hard decision for me. I would have to really look at and drive both and see which one was better condition to further my choice.

Not bad for 2002's. Neither one for me. Black is a pita to maintain and just flat out don't like yellow for me.

But if I had to choose, probably car A. Lower miles and the color yields more options for customizing with stripes or two-tone or whatever. Looks tougher as opposed to ...well....yellow.

I got my 2002 from the same place.

Black, 2 tops, has everything but the Z51 package. 39k miles, 19k.

Immaculate paint and the interior was perfect.

They say they wont hassle price, but they will... It was listed for 23k.

B has had 6 owners! & some event history. beware! you can add sways & other Z51 items pretty cheap. I would not buy any car because of color only.

This is good information to know. I thought about driving down to Houston from Dallas one weekend and checking out there inventory.

You literally walk in, show them your DL and insurance and they give you a wrist band which gives you access to drive any car in their inventory. I drove 4 C5s, including a Z51, 2 Z06, and the one I own. Pretty much made my decision off of that.

I have to admit that I am partial to the Yellow car, after all I'm a new owner with one that is a mate to that one except that it is a 2004.

And In fact my car also came out of Texas in a fllood year also, I almost walked at that point but used that point to hammer down the dealer a little more. Mine may be the exception but I'm very happy with mine at the moment although it's only been a little over a month. It's extremly clean everywhere I look so somebody must have spent some time on this car. > 30k miles

There are plenty of cars around, and my only thought is to get one with both tops. I specifically looked for one with a painted top, I didn't realize that you could have both till I started hanging around here I'm still looking just for fun and All else being equal I'd get the car without the question mark on the record, the black one.

I'd buy car B, because the po weren't afraid to drive it. Plus I don't care for black cars, of any kind. I wouldn't buy either one without driving both first. I chose a 99 over an 02 last year because the 99 drove better, the 02 had more mods done to it. The 02 was a better price though because of the mods, and it was A LOT faster
