You always seem to find my posts, makes it difficult trying to sneak around as the little brother! Actually, I changed up the back end since that time so we have a little more bold difference. I'm still far back on the mod path, but I'm slowly catching up

I bought them 2 years ago with nearly bald Invo's and they've surprisingly lasted me this long. I need to buy new shoes come spring and I'm debating on renewing the Invo's or getting Hankook Ventus V12s. Heard a lot of great things about the V12s, but that was mostly from base and stock C5 owners. I'm very curious to know how well they'd do with 430+whp. As you are well aware, we don't have a lot of great choices with our tire size, and my car will only see 1-2 light track days a year if that so I'll sacrifice a bit of traction for a reasonably priced tire that will last me longer than 3 minutes.
Even nearly bald the Invo's still did great on the 1-2 shifts. If they were warm I wouldn't slip at all. It looks like the price of V12s jumped considerably in the past few months, but they're still cheaper than Invos. I'm torn on what to do. What tires do you have?
Never measured but i would say around 3-3.5" dish off the top of my head.
Nice rims but the guy before me bought the wrong offset. I went to do rear brakes after I got the car and had to clear the calipers a **** ton since the pads pushed the caliper out more and still run the spacer he had on.

I'm running Continental ContiSport 3 tires (4 yrs old). They are not made anymore. Continental replaced with with there DW tire. 1st is completely useless, and 2nd is mostly useless with traction with my 471/441 (rear wheel). The upside to your tires breaking loose is that it is cheaper than other things breaking if you hook up....
I'm planning on the Hankook's for my next tire. Im not a fan of the sidewall lip protector at all on some of the tires out there... The Hankooks does not have much (if any) sidewall lip protector. I'm not too worried about traction. I don't race my car and I kinda enjoy them slipping out on me around turns. I like "drifting" it out ever so often...

I've heard nothing but positive things about the Hankooks. I will likely hop on the bandwagon and go with them as well - just wish I would've bought them when they were only $280/pop Looks like they had a good sales haha.
there are some nice looking wheels in this thread.
I will be coming back to this one once I am ready to move up from my Y2K wheels. thanks for all the posts guys, and thanks to the OP for asking for them.
