Keep an eye on the Great Lakes section. Zack is the social coordinator for MCV (Motor City Vettes). We have semi-weekly get-togethers that alternate east-side and west-side. The west-side location last year was Uptown Grill on Maple near Haggerty.

There is a Corvette show at Canterbury Village every summer. I'm an eastsider. Don't really want to join a club but, wouldn't mind periodic get togethers just to B.S. and tell lies and laugh a lot. That's what I do with my car buddies Saturday mornings.

I live near Sarnia Ontario , across from Port Huron . Belong to Corvettes of Western Ontario based out of London , about and hour east of here. Always willing to travel to an event . Last year some of of club members went to Corvette America , stayed in Bloomfield . Maybe some time we could get the clubs together .

MCV isn't really a club. We're just a bunch of CorvetteForum members who get together whenever we can. A few years ago we used to do more (drag day at Milan, Christmas party at Dave and Buster's) though things seem to have slowed down a little as some of us starting having kids.
There are plenty of events going on in southeast Michigan to keep you busy all summer long. Check the Great Lakes forum for posts with [MCV] in the title. It doesn't look like Zack has put together a 2012 thread yet but I'm sure he's working on it.
