It is related. With this information Corvette owners can recognize a super fast import car and avoid a potentially embarrassing situation of going up against one (at the track of course).
Also, this information can be used by Corvette owners to make their own cars faster. I'm pretty sure the sticker horse power upgrade applies to all cars.

Had he claimed that it was a WRX instead of a honda he would have made his parody actually believable as they have the speed to prove it. My vette runs as well as most stock ones and off the line I was quickly ahead by two cars. As I hit 60 mph or so the WRX came by me like I had the brakes on. I slinked away telling myself that at least I looked a lot better than the rice burner or need to start stacking on some speed equipment
