I was messing around on the PC and decided to advertise a set of Borla Stingers for sale on Craigs list.C5 catback, excellent shape, want to sell locally and asked $650.I got three responces right away and low and behold they all had the same story you know the one where they will send more than your asking, and they are too busy to pick them up so they will have a mover pick them up after they get some of your money. To their emails I replied [which I shouldn't have]that there had been a typo in the add and they were actually $650,000,000,000.00.One of the idiots actually replied back and wanted some pics. One has got to be careful out there.
BTW I didn't sell them

Got a call telling me I was awarded a $7000.00 grant from the goverment due to my age. I just needed to give them the federal taxes on it before I could get my money. The scam was in the newspaper 3 days later.
Don't get discouraged though. CL really works.
I have sold a lot of stuff on there including headers and 3 or 4 cars.
You just have to sift through the good and the bad and be prudent.
Good Luck.
It should be federal law that scam attempts be punishable by a punch to the neck. From a buff dude
I just sold a set of flowmaster mufflers on CL two days ago, they were listed for about 2 months but finally someone picked them up CASH in the Wally World parking lot; no money order, wire transfer, cashier check BS. Just be patient
