Steering Column Guy
Hey everyone! I am new to this forum but not new to Vettes, I have loved them for years and have worked on plenty of them for customers in the past. I started rebuilding steering columns back in late 96, and have been building them ever since, telescopic columns were my biggest challenge back then but now I look forward to fixing them , I have an extensive clientele, and love what I do. For the last about 7-8 years I decided that I would take my steering column building talent and make it my full-time business one day, well on June 28th 2011 I went and got my business lisence, and started going mobile. So far I have been very sucessful! If anybody needs anything, you let me know, I can rebuild columns you ship to me and get them back to you quickly. I can offer free advice so just send me a message if you need anything! I am also working on a prototype for a C1 power steering column.

Better yet, get into the C-5 columns now as well. I just had to replace the lower column bearing in mine. Well, had the dealer do it. They managed to break the bottom plastic thingy that holds the bearing, therefore they had to order a new one and do it again. As the C-5's get older, there will be issues. In my case, the steering wheel would rattle going down the freeway. Its gone now.
