Default Build sheet location?

I have a repro build sheet from the museum, but wonder if the plant attaches a sheet to the car and , if so where would I be likely to find it?

Factory build sheets for C5 Vettes are stuffed into the front frame crossmember on the drivers side. They are a PITA to get out because you have to remove the front fascia to access the open end of the crossmember. Mine was in bad shape when removed - water damage.

I believe I heard it was inside the front bumper support. I come across this info a few weeks ago but have not verified it. Anyone have the front bumper cover off their car?

That's where it should be - I pulled my build sheet out when I had a little repair done to my front fascia about two years ago -was still in very good shape and now have it framed and hanging on the garage wall.

Default Thanks so much

for the replies. I think I'll let it rest in peace. If ever I need to access that area, I'll go after it. Used to be many manufacturers put the sheets under the carpet or under a seat, usually the rear seat in sedans.
Thanks,
Dave
