Default Leather - Where is it?

On a 2003 with sport seats - is the entire seat leather? Just the sides?

The steering wheel?

Neither the manual shift boot nor handbrake boot are leather, are they?

Many thanks,

Joe

I think it's known that the seating area of the seats are leather, sides and back are vinyl, door panels are vinyl, as is dash and steering wheel. The shift boot is leather. That's the only drawback about Vettes-the interior, but it can be modified for $$$.

I thought it was seating surfaces (not sides or back), steering wheel, and shift **** and boot. "leather" is a broad term...Corvette leather is not Bentley leather and may not feel/smell/look the same....

I upgraded my seats, steering wheel, shift boot/****, e-brake handle/**** with new leather and now Dennis @ DD Mods is working on a set of matching black leather door panels!

I think that "Corvette Leather" and "Leather" are two different things.

Let's define leather as the skin of a cow. I'm just trying to figure out what I should use leather products on, and what I should use vinyl products on.

So we have consensus that it is only the seating surface on the seats.

Looks like we think the shift boot is leather. Not unanimous on the steering wheel.

Most sports cars I've owned, BMW/Porsche/etc only had leather seating surfaces. You can easily tell by looking at the grain on suspect i.e., non seating surfaces, for the molding patterns i.e. grain.
