Same thing happened to me. It's really hard to see how the inside is wearing. After the new shoes, got the alignment, I know it sure drives better. Doesn't get so "upset" in the curves!
I had the wife's C5 aligned when I was swapping new RF's on last year and the fronts looked just like yours. The shop I took it to does primarily Vipers but lots of C5's too. The tech told me there is basically no way to stay within the factory alignment specs and prevent that inside wear on the front tires. He showed me the range of adjustment to confirm it. He told me every C5 he aligns looks like that if the tires have significant wear on them.
My 86 Trans Am did the same exact thing. I had it aligned frequently and four sets of fronts looked like that every time they got into the 20K mile range.

Yeah -- that's what the tech at the Chevy dealership basically said. I'm fortunate to have a great Chevy service department at the dealership we frequent.
He and his wife both have Corvette's and he always treats him like they are his own. Going to be ordering some new Michelins soon.
What I have been reading is that if the camber is not set to Zero, that inside edge wear will happen. It seems like the Z06 alignment spec even calls for more camber than the coupe/convertible and makes it worse.
I need mine aligned too, but I am still trying to find a place that is any good (and can take care not to damage a C5) in central Illinois.

Here in Norman, Oklahoma, we have a Jamie. Jamie works at a Firestone tire/service center. Jamies owns a rare Artic White Z06. His alignments are just that. Approaching 25K on current tires, no uneven wear here. It is an art!
