HVAC Problem
Have done a search on the Web and this forum but still haven't found what I'm looking for.
Unlike some people who have had problems with the A/C blowing hot or cold air out of one side or the other, I'm having trouble with the "set" feature. When I turn the **** one way or the other, it only goes up or down one number; sometimes does not change at all.
I might add that in the past I would have my A/C serviced (topped with refrigerant and checked for leaks), usually in the spring, and it would blow cold air for a while, then when I went to use it again it would only be blowing warm air. I'm aware that this problem could possibly be from lack of use.
Now I've got this additional problem with the controls. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe you're talking about the auto temp control on the HVAC control when you say "set" feature... I'd guess the control has a problem. You might check around for a different/new control.. They aren't all that hard to change.
As for A/C blowing warm, could you have a freon leak?? Cold when full of freon and then as the freon leaks out the air warms.
