I didn't even realize that guys were taking them off untill I started hanging around here and so I've spent quite a bit of time sitting in my garage looking at my car and perusing dozens of picture of other members c5's. I think that will be my first mod but..
Do you just pull them off and clean up what ever is underneath? (glue, stickly tape) I like the look of having them off but am a little leary of what I might find underneath, maybe a previous paint job. I also like the plasti-dip rear Fascia, that would be next.
I saw it from a previous post but there are a couple of car that have added BSM's and I really liked the one that had three per side.
Because of the height differance I doubt they offer much protection from other peoples doors.
