Exhaust question

I never thought to ask the seller if the exhaust had been changed out/upgraded from stock. Is there anyway to tell? Name (Corsa,Borla, etc.) stamped somewhere on the pipes?

A picture would help to be able to determine if they are stock.

post a pic and most of us can tell immediately if its stock or not.

guess i should've done that to start with...I'll put one up tomorrow

BTW, judging by the tips (don't know if that matters or not) they look like stock. I guess I am questioning the whole thing because of the exhaust note...the sound is a bit louder and "throatier" than other C5's I have been in (assuming the other cars were stock)

If the tips are oval chances are they're stock.

are the mufflers painted black ? if yes, they are steel and OEM.

It mufflers are stainless, likely aftermarket

If you have small oval chrome tips on the exhaust, most likely it is the stock exhaust. But pics would really help narrow it down. Or you can always contact the prior owner and ask.
