Red dots in dash . . . help identify please
I'm going to take a look at this vette tomorrow but noticed these 2 red dots on the dash next to the radio. I have never seen them on a vette before and have no idea what they are. Any clue?

They are certainly noticeable there. I wonder why would anyone even do that, even for an alarm warning.

Certainly something the prior owner installed - did not come from the factory that way. An alarm would be a good guess.

It looks to me like a built in Radar detector such as a K40 or something similar. The top light notifies you if you are getting hit from the front and the bottom one tells you if radar is coming from the rear of the car.
