Far from wealthy here too,,and know where you are coming from!! CONGRATS!!! A little jealous too,,I still have a while to go on mine!Looking foreword to joining your club one day!!ENJOY!!!
I got tired of watching my savings go backwards due to the lousy economy, so when I bought mine I took money out and paid cash. Figured it was better for me to get some fun out of my money before everything else ate it up. Anyway, my license plate should read: MY401K
One of my goals in life before I kick the bucket was to own a Corvette and I kept telling myself "when I get older" and it dawned on me last August that I was older already, I was 48 then, so I did it and even though I am on the borderline of being able to afford it even though I have had to spend some money to make it just right for me I have never regretted a day since then. All I have to do is get in it and drive, lets just hope that gas prices dont go crazy in the next few years at least, I plan on traveling the western states over the next several years.
Congrats!! I own mine too, its a beautiful thing.
