Default Wheel and tire picture request

I know this has been done before (I searched) but I'm looking to see pictures of these particular wheels on a C5 and to know what size and brand of tire you put with them.

If you have any pictures of your C5 with C6 z06 reproductions or C6 Z06 deep dish reproductions chrome finish in 18"/19" could you please post a picture in this thread. Please include the tire size and brand.
Also I have read that some of you have 19x10 and some go with 19x11 on the rear. What’s best and what are your reasons for going with the width you chose?

For tires I'm considering Continental Extreme Contact DW in 285/35/19 on the rear and 255/40/18 in front. I want to go 285 or wider on the rear without any tire or wheel sticking out past the top of the fenders. Thank you for your help and input!

Geezus, man. Aren't there like a ton of C5s on this forum using C6Z replicas? How many did you find when you searched? What are you hoping to find out when you see yet another C5 wearing these wheels? Without even searching, I know I recently saw quite a few, including a black Z06 and a yellow coupe. Just look through the last few pages of the "Custom Wheels" thread.

Thanks for your help! If you want to be really helpful maybe you could show me a picture of a C5 with C6 Z06 deep dish reproduction wheels 18"/19" with the tire brand and size included. I'm sure your being a senior member here you want to set a good example and help others, right? THAT would be really helpful!

So, you basically want me to spend time searching for you? No problem, but that is why I asked about what you already found, since you claimed to have already searched.

Not sure you can have "deep dish" C6Z wheels since the spokes are flush with the lip, but here---30 second search using the words "c6z wheels". Blitzkrieg's car:

18x9.5/19x11, 275/35R18 325/30R19 Nitto Invos

Here is another post by "Vette C5", found with another 30 second search using the words "C6Z replicas":

18x9.5/19x11 C6Z replicas in chrome

275/35R18 and 295/30R19 Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas

Thanks! I really did spend quite some time searching before asking. Your search did turn up two that I had not seen however. What I'm trying to do is decide between the C6 Z06 wheels in C5 sizes and the same Z06 wheels in C5 sizes with the lip as in the pic below.

What I would like to see a picture of is a set of Z06 wheels in C5 sizes with the lip and Continental Extreme Contact DW tires in 285/35/19 and 255/40/18 front. But I'll try to find it on my own as I don't want to be a bother. I do appreciate your help as where I'm located geographically I would have to wait until I could get to some car shows this summer to possibly see these wheels and I would like to order and have them on the car by then.

18's Front...19's rear

Tires are Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals in C6 tires sizes...purchased from TireRack.
Sizes:
Front: 245/40-18
Rear: 285/35-19

The popular tire choice seems to the Hankook NON-Runflats.

JM20, Thanks for posting those pics. That's just what I was looking for. I guess I'm going to have to admit my searching technique seems to be lacking because I didn't find yours when I searched either!

No problem! I don't get why people take the time to reply just to bust ***** about using the search function. Many don't know about the "Advanced Search" and try using the search at the top center of the forum, which results can be way off from what you're looking for.

Glad I was able to help! Good luck!

Not an attack, but just a question.

The C5 has been around for a number of years now, so for the most part all the questions have been asked. Not much new out there to bring up that already has not been discussed.

So based on the use the search mentality, this forum would be a ghost town. Just do a search, it's already answered somewhere here.

It would probably be true if all of us were owners, or members of many years. For those of us that just recently bought our cars, we want to ask questions, and also build relationships with other forum members. Just doing a search does not allow us to make friends on the forum.

Just something for you to think about.

I currently have Chrome C6 Z06 reproduction wheels (not deep dish) 17x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. Tires are Michelin Pilot A/S in 245/45/17 and 275/40/18 that are like new and perfect but I always felt I should have went with the 18/19 setup with wider wheels and tires. As soon as I make up my mind I'll be sure to post up some detailed pics showing them on the car, weight with tires, tire brand and my overall opinion FWIW. Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to post pics and help me out.
