Default C6 type splash guards for my C5

Can anyone tell me the vendor who sells the fender splash guards that look like the C6's for application on my C5? I'm getting ready to fix a few things and want to install the C6 style while I'm at it. Thanks

I just purchased a complete set front and rears (GM P/N# 19170234) for around $105. I have yet to install them.

^these are the same ones i went with.

while the C6Z0 rear ones are nice, the fronts are a lot more work to adapt to the C5 fenders. besides, i wanted the protection on my black paint without going over the top on the "obvious" look of the apsis ones. i'm not knocking them at all cuz they make a great product. a fellow C5er just added them to his and he said the owner (jersey?) was absolutely great to work with.

anyways, here are the fronts:

the rears:

and a low angle side profile:

again, all i needed/wanted was a subtle-looking splash guard to help stop the "sandblasting" of my wheel wells and fenders.

here's my original post:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-z...d-install.html

good luck with the install and post pics.

$400-450 for splash guards? That's a little ridiculous. If one is that worried about nicks in the paint, just stay off those "damn gravel roads." (;>))

The rear Z06 splash guards are what DeeGee's write up talks to. They are the following GM Part #'s

Z06 Rear Splash Guards

15818636 – RH splash guard – $52.64
15818637 – LH splash guard – $51.18
i don't think the OP was asking for the C6Z0 versions. at least he wasn't specific in his original post.

the ones Navybluevette and i bought/installed are factory GM pieces for the '07+ C6's and are listed under the "Accessories" category. they were around $100 for both front AND rear (left & right) where i believe the above C6Z0 pieces/prices were for just the rears.

not trying to bust chops, just giving the OP all the info i wanted/needed when i was searching around.

peace,

rich

Thanks to all of you guys for the info. For me the APSIS or Lewis edition will be the ones I go with cause I'm no way talented enough to mod the GM C6's to my C5 ; I need them to fit without any mods. Thanks again for the help and I'll take some pics when I install them. Oh, by the way I live on a gravel road unfortunately.

The APSIS ones do look great ( to Choreo for a great looking car). I just have a hard time wanting to spend that much money for a set of splash guards.

Sorry about your gravel. You could take it real slow on the gravel. Seriously, there is another company that is preparing another splash guard set that's supposed to come out in a few weeks. Sorry, I can't remember their name (I'm of that age), but if you do a search on splash guards, you should come across their outfit. Also less $$.

I have Clear Bra behind each wheel and it works great, but may install some guards if just to keep it cleaner!

I'm sorry but I wouldn't put those apsis splash guards on my car if you gave them to me for free....(jmo) as many of you on here say they don't flow with the lines of the C5!!!

Thanks again you guys. I like the Apsis alot, even though some might not. The only question left is about needing to paint them, What finish do they come in from the factory, carbon or flat or gloss black or what? I'll need to have them in a flat or matt black at install due to silver C5 so I assume I'll need to have them professionally painted at a body shop.

WoW ! $400+ smakeroons for a full set set of black mat finish guards from Apsis. I have to admit they are the best looking out there on the market. But Apsis does do a hell of a job, perhaps the best there is. But it's a corvette so everything is going to cost 200% over anything known to mankind. I'll have to start saving my paper route money to get one set of the blacks mat finish ? . . .

Are yours on a stock-fendered C5, and do you have any pix of them? I'm looking to do same but would like to see them installed first.

Can you imagine what they would charge if there was an emblem or a couple of letters on them?
