I use Adams all the time and yes it will remove minor scratches. You can do it by hand if they are not real bad, but I suggest that you get a good random orbital buffer such as a Porta Cable. The clear coat on Corvette's is extremely hard, so you will need to work on them.
I would also suggest that you take a few pictures of the scratches prior to starting to correction and if you are have an issue go the the Adams forum post the pictures and what you are doing and you will get the best help around.

You might need to go with something more agressive than polish, like the swril and haze remover with the orange pad first then follow it with the polish and white pad.

Not heard of Adams, but have used the Meguairs line of products since they were only available to professional painters some 30 years ago. If your car is garage kept, then you can remove some of the scratch, but not all to keep as much clear coat as possible. Then use a glaze (sometimes referred to a Quik Detail. A glaze does not last as long as wax, especially if not garaged. When I bought my 2001 there were some light scratches and all I did was put some pure wax on first then the glaze on them and they disappeared. I reapply every month or so as needed. You can do this by hand if you don't have a buffer. I did mine by hand even though I do all my own show quality painting. Good luck, Sam

Stay away from a detail shop! You can do it!

Meguiar's Micro Fiber Correction System and a Dual Action buffer, followed by using a two bucket washing system with grit guards.

What color is your car? (Black , huh...)

The Adam's system will work just fine. Their stuff is color coded so you can't really make a mistake with what pad for what product.

Wash,
Clay,
Compound (Random Orbit sander/polisher like the Porter Cable 7346 is fine)
Polish with Porter Cable
Wax/Seal

Just don't go hitting it with a direct drive buffer unless you know what your doing. Many people will burn through and cause more of a headache.

I used the Adams products on my 2001. Had some scratches that were deeper than swirl marks. Used the clay bar, swirl and haze remover, revive polish and the buttery wax in that order, all by hand and spending a bit of time with each. I was very pleased with the result. I'm planning on doing this entire treatment once per year, with the occasional polish only and wax in between.

I use a variety of the Adam's polishes on my car - the Scratch Out is a more abrasive product and you have to be careful not to rub too hard with it. I also use their Revive product - it is a milder product and does a good job getting rid of minor surface scratches.
