New shocks?
I have 2003 Coupe with 108,000 miles on it that is my daily driver. It still feels fairly solid over bumps, but I'm wondering if new shocks (mine are original) would make it feel noticeably better. This is not a track car, so if I replace I want something that helps the ride. Any insight and suggestions of type/brand will be greatly appreciated!

I've had just about every shock made.
What I like the most about the Koni's is the duel valving.
Basically it allows the shock to act like a road shock and a track shock
at the same time (technically with in milliseconds)
In other words, it acts like a road shock when there are things like
pot holes or frost heaves, and acts quickly to absorb the bump.
but,
when gradual pressure is applied (like loading in a corner) the valve system acts differently and restricts the rebound and dampening. Keeps
the car nice and level, its a very predictable shock.
Really, the others give you one or the other...
I have them on all my stuff.
We get them directly from Koni, it takes about 10-14 days...

I did the same on my 2000 (non Z51) Vert along with the Z51 sway bars and metal end links- a very nice improvement in handling, and not a harsh ride either.

Yes, in my opinion it is best to do this with the Z51 sway bars and the metal end links.
I did put them on a 35' motorhome that was jarring my fillings out over tar strips and small bumps and wallowing like a whale on corners. The FSD's made a huge difference. The harshness is gone and no more wallowing.
If the FSD's can do that to a truck chassis with a motorhome on top of it, think what they'll do for a Vette.
